Welcome to ZiPZineZone (ZZZ) the online home of ZIP: Zine in Progress & its host entity ZFOS: ZinesFromOuterSpace. ZZZ may in time grow into an umbrella for a variety of different zines and printing projects growing out of Noisebridge hackerspace.
ZiP MegaZine (ZMZ) is a quasi-quarterly hacker-friendly “mega-zine” (hybrid zine + magazine) inspired by Noisebridge.
ZinesFromOuterSpace (ZFOS) is a mailing list & discussion group for zinesters, zinephiles, printmakers, screenprinters, and other DIY publishing aficionados in San Francisco, with connections worldwide.

Goals

The goal of ZFOS, as of January, 2012, is to start a DIY print shop and publishing label. We want to hear about your zinetic, print-making, silkscreening, & guerrilla public art projects – past present and future. We want you to contribute to ZIP and start up a new venture of your own. We want you to help us tweak the traditional materials and formats used in printing. And we would love if you would help us start zine-making workshops at Noisebridge, and assist in our current major undertaking: a hacker print-shop-in-development by the name of C3P0. You’ll be hearing more about that very soon…
